How to Get There

Koutoubia Mosque is centrally located and easily accessible by foot from anywhere in central Marrakech. If you are in the Medina, it’s a short walk from Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, one of the most famous landmarks in the city, making it easy to find.

By Taxi

Taxis are readily available throughout Marrakech. For convenience, ask the driver to take you to “Koutoubia Mosque,” which is well-known and easy to locate. Ensure to agree on the fare before you begin your journey as Marrakech taxis do not typically use meters.

By Public Bus

While there is no direct bus service that stops right at the mosque, several bus lines run close to Jemaa el-Fnaa Square. From the square, the mosque is a visible and short walk away.

By Car
